Awards luncheon to feature performance by Phillip Boykin

The Phillis Wheatley Community Center in Greenville will induct former State Senator Ralph Anderson, Broadway star Phillip Boykin, community leader Bobbie Jo Clinkscale, and business leader Stewart Spinks into the center’s Hall of Fame on October 14.
Former State Senator Ralph Anderson will be inducted as the Public Policy Champion (posthumous) who tirelessly advocated for the public good as a member of Greenville City Council, a member of the South Carolina House of Representatives, and as a State Senator.
Broadway star Phillip Boykin will be inducted as the Arts Champion for his accomplishments as a Tony-nominated performer.
Bobbie Jo Clinkscale will be inducted as the Community Champion (posthumous) who served many years as an administrator at Phillis Wheatley Community Center.
Chairman and Founder of Spinx Stewart Spinks will be inducted as the Business Champion who founded and grew his business in Greenville while investing in the community.
In addition to the awards presentations, the luncheon event will feature a live performance from Arts Champion Phillip Boykin.
The event is open to the public, and doors open at 11:30 a.m. Tickets are $75.00 and may be purchased online via Eventbrite. Event sponsorships are also available. Call 864-240-4242 for more information.
